Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai’s government completed three months

Raipur, 14 March 2024 / The Chhattisgarh Government, led by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, completed three months on March 13. On this occasion, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, along with various ministers, officials, and people of the state, extend their congratulations to the Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai at the Chief Minister’s residence. Chief Minister Sai also met with people and accepted their greetings. He also urged for continued support from the people for the development of the state. His wife, Kaushalya Sai, was also present.

Today, a large number of people, including Education Minister Shri Brijmohan Agrawal, Industry Minister Shri Lakhanlal Dewangan, Finance Minister Shri O.P. Choudhary, Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap, Revenue Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma, MLAs Punnulal Mohle, Sampat Agrawal, Anuj Sharma, Smt Bhawna Bohra, Shri Amar Agrawal, Rajesh Munat, and various public representatives from various parts of the state, gathered at the Chief Minister’s residence in Raipur. People from different regions of the state also congratulated the Chief Minister for his dedicated work in the interests of the welfare of the people during his three-month tenure.

It is noteworthy that within a short span of three months, the state government has fulfilled most of the promises made under Modi’s guarantee, and the remaining will be fulfilled in the upcoming days. The Chhattisgarh Government has sanctioned the construction of 18 lakh houses for poor families in the state under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, the state government has disbursed an amount of Rs. 655 crore as the first installment to the eligible women. This scheme will provide Rs. 1000 every month to all eligible women without any hassle. Under the Krishak Unnati Yojana, the state government has disbursed an amount of Rs. 13,320 crore to 24.72 lakh farmers to strengthen agriculture and benefit farmers, along with a two-year pending bonus for paddy procurement of Rs. 3716 crore.

The state government has paid Rs. 31,914 crore to 24.72 lakh farmers in lieu of procuring 145 lakh metric tonnes of paddy at the support price. Farmers are receiving a support price of Rs. 3100 per quintal for paddy, which is the highest in the country, and for up to 21 quintals per acre. The state government has made several significant decisions, including increasing the collection rate of tendupatta from Rs. 4000 to Rs. 5500 per standard bag. The budget for the financial year 2024–25 is dedicated to the development, prosperity, and well-being of Chhattisgarh. These decisions of the state government will accelerate Chhattisgarh’s progress on the path of development.
