How to Book Tickets Online
The online booking for the Republic Day Parade 2024 will start from January 7, 2024 and will close on January 23, 2024 or until the tickets are sold out, whichever is earlier. The online booking can be done through the official website of the Ministry of Defence, www.mod.gov.in, or through the mobile app, RDP 2024, which can be downloaded from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
The online booking process is as follows:
- Register on the website or the app with your name, email, mobile number, and Aadhaar number.
- Select the date, time, and category of the ticket you want to buy. The tickets are available for two events: the Republic Day Parade on January 26, 2024, and the Beating Retreat Ceremony on January 29, 2024. The tickets are also available in two categories: reserved and unreserved. The reserved tickets are for the seats near the main stage at Rajpath, while the unreserved tickets are for the seats along the parade route.
- Pay the ticket fee online using a debit card, credit card, net banking, UPI, or wallet. The ticket fee is Rs. 500 for the reserved seats and Rs. 100 for the unreserved seats for the Republic Day Parade, and Rs. 50 for the unreserved seats for the Beating Retreat Ceremony. There is no fee for children below the age of five years.
